This is the permanent repair by installing a aluminum insert with flange, and either plastic welding the crack and using a zip tie for plastic filler or you can use seal all on cracks when done if you choose.
most Zr's and ZL's are under 3 inch and those are 85.00 shipped using paypal and shipping usps daily.
Do not resort to the soup can or plumbing pipe to do this repair!!Even if it is not cracked it is a good practice to install before it is to late. you freeze insert and lightly heat neck to install insert down to flange, now you have a good seal to tank and flange for cap to seal on.
Also we can make any custom sizes such as F7 and built to your specs, those cost more $$ according to sizes. we also make the best skidoo oil tank inserts that use no orings, also coolant bottle inserts.contact me for further details.
