We are looking for an experienced, safety-minded, and driven Concrete Foreman to lead a crew, manage job sites, and help us continue to build our reputation for excellence.
The Role
As the Concrete Foreman, you will direct the daily activities of the concrete crew, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to our high-quality standards. You will be the vital link between project management and the field team, responsible for reading blueprints, managing materials, coordinating equipment, and mentoring your crew.
Key Responsibilities
Site Leadership: Supervise, train, and manage a crew of concrete finishers, laborers, and equipment operators.
Project Execution: Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine project requirements and plan daily tasks.
Quality Control: Oversee and participate in form carpentry, rebar tying, pouring, grading, and finishing to ensure top-tier craftsmanship.
Material & Equipment Management: Coordinate the ordering and delivery of concrete, materials, and heavy equipment. Ensure all tools and machinery are properly maintained.
Safety Enforcement: Conduct daily safety talks and strictly enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Reporting: Track crew hours, daily progress, material usage, and report updates to the owner.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in concrete construction (forming, pouring, and finishing) and at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and site plans. Proficient in layout, leveling, and elevation checks.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a crew effectively.
Safety: Valid OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is highly preferred.
Requirements: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus).
Physical Demands: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in various weather conditions and lift up to 50+ lbs.
