Looking for an old friend Norman Olsen, who grow up in Northern North Dakota.
Norman has to be 60 or so.
Norman is also a Vietnam Vet did 1 OR MORE Tours of Duty in Vietnam. Norman worked at the Roosevelt National Park when younger.
Can't remember name of town but wasn't far from Canada border.
Norman owned a house in Coal Creek, CO north of my place in Texas Creek, CO.
He also stayed at my place for a period of time, due to a problem with a woman he dated named
Kathy Young. She lived on Blazing Saddle Trail in Texas Creek/Cotopaxi, CO.
He worked for Tezek Company driving a belly dump truck from Canon City to Colorado Springs most days.
Then came up the mountain every night after work with a 12 pack and helped me split wood by hand till dark for me to sell.
I drove a truck following Norman in another truck with horse trailer in tow with his 2 horses from, Colorado to Northern North Dakota in 2002 or 2003 wish I could remember the name of the town we went to.
Take his horses to a large ranch owned by a friend of his to release them to run on his land for a year or so.
He also had another good friend who was a Black Smith, wielder, furrier who lived outside this town we went to see him. Can't remember his name.
We had to drive right through the Roosevelt National Park to get to his home town. (his parents still lived there then)
My name is Mars, Billy Mars of Texas Creek, CO raised in Maryland.
If you know anything about Norman please contact me. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH HIM SINCE 2006 LAST CONTACT WITH HIM IN 2004 OR 2005.
He was selling his place in Colorado and moving back to North Dakota due to a medical problem from Nam.
Thank you for any help or info anyone can give me.
I think of that fellow often best man I ever known loyal & honest with a word worth more than GOLD.
Attached is the only picture I have of Norm.
This is the morning we were loading to take the horses to North Dakota.
